The Marmorine
Venetian Plaster
Polished lime and marble-dust finishes that catch light like stone — applied in thin layers, burnished by hand, and tailored to each room’s architecture.

A finish with depth, not decoration alone
Venetian plaster is a mineral coating built from lime putty and marble dust. When layered and compressed with a steel trowel, it develops a soft sheen and subtle movement that paint cannot imitate. The Marmorine approaches each wall as a surface to be read up close and from across a room.
We work with architects, interior designers, general contractors and private clients who want calm, enduring luxury — not trend-driven texture for its own sake.
Where Venetian plaster belongs
Feature walls in living rooms and primary suites, gallery-like corridors, powder rooms, stair volumes, and boutique retail interiors all benefit from a carefully specified Venetian plaster. Sheen can range from satin to a higher polish; color is custom-matched to the palette of the project.
In South Florida’s coastal light, a well-executed Venetian plaster reads especially well: soft mornings, strong afternoon sun, and warm evening glow all reveal different facets of the same wall.
Process & collaboration
Projects typically begin with a conversation about the space, substrate, and desired character, followed by sample boards when helpful. Application is scheduled around adjacent trades so edges, millwork and lighting meet the finish cleanly.
With more than twenty years of craftsmanship behind the studio, we bring the same discipline to a single residential feature wall and to multi-room or commercial programs.
