The Marmorine

Travertino

Textured, stone-inspired plaster that brings horizontal movement and a sense of carved geology to contemporary interiors.

Texture with architectural purpose

Travertino finishes evoke the banded character of travertine without the weight or jointing of stone. Properly executed, the surface has direction, shadow and a hand-worked rhythm that suits feature volumes, hospitality lounges and refined retail shells.

We calibrate texture scale to viewing distance: finer for intimate rooms, bolder for taller walls and commercial storefronts.

Pairing with Venetian polish

Many projects combine Travertino on selected planes with smoother Venetian plaster or Marmorino elsewhere. That contrast — matte texture against luminous polish — is a hallmark of considered decorative finishing.

Sample boards help the client and design team agree on aggregate, color and the level of open texture before site work begins.
