The Marmorine

Marmorino

A classic lime-based plaster with quiet tonal variation — sophisticated rather than glossy, and suited to rooms that ask for restraint.

Mineral character, measured sheen

Marmorino sits in the Venetian plaster family but often reads softer and more matte than a highly burnished polish. Its beauty is in subtle clouding, fine aggregate, and a surface that feels tactile without visual noise.

Designers specify Marmorino when they want limestone-like calm: libraries, dressing rooms, spa-like baths, and boutique environments where merchandise or art should lead.

Specification notes

Color, aggregate and finish level are developed with the design team. We can align Marmorino with adjacent stone, millwork stains and metal finishes so the wall supports the architecture rather than competing with it.

As with all our lime finishes, substrate preparation and curing conditions matter. We coordinate sequencing so the plaster has the conditions it needs to perform.
